New Weather-Lok² Washer

Buildex has launched Weather-Lok 2, a new and improved washer made out of elastomer, a polymer with both viscosity and elasticity! The new Weather-Lok 2 washer has improved weather and outdoor UV performance, improved longevity and strength with greater elasticity. It means the washer has the ability to withstand higher temperatures and more harsher environments, is recyclable and won't go hard over time. Weather-Lok 2 is available for sale loose in bulk boxes of 1,000 or assembled with Buildex 14-14 Fibreglass Teks in 65m mand 83mm lengths.

Buildex donation to Clean Up Australia Day

As part of its on-going commitment as a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant, Buildex has made a $500 donation to the upcoming Clean Up Australia Day. Now in its 25th year since it first started in 1990, last year saw 572,000 volunteers clean up 15,708 tonnes of rubbish at 7,140 sites across Australia! All donations go towards the purchase of bags, gloves and other resources provided to volunteers for free to clean up their local environment.
