Measure the total thickness of the materials to be fastened. |

Choose a screw long enough to provide approx. 20mm of thread embedment into the timber being fastened to. |

For Countersunk Rib Head and Self-Embedding Head screws fit a #2 Phillips drive bit to a power screwdriver set to low speed, approx. 1000rpm.

Put screw onto drive bit and place at fastening position. |
| 5. |
Drive screw home until the head is flush with surface. |
