Helps Prevent Water Entry
Includes a double washer system, consisting of an upper and larger lower EPDM seal with a recess holding this in place. This helps prevent water entry between the screw head, cyclone plate and roofing profile.
Complies with Cyclonic Building Standards
ROOF-LOK® is suitable for roofs designed for Category 5 cyclones. It has been tested and passed by James Cook University Cyclone Testing Station (Test Summary Sheet TS936 Revision A) and has Deemed to Comply approval (m/192) from the Northern Territory Building Advisory Committee.
Corrosion Protection
Climaseal® sets the standard in anti-corrosive coatings. The corrosion protection of the ROOF-LOK® plate matches the screw assembly. The unique design also makes it less likely to trap swarf and dirt beneath the plate, reducing the threat of corrosion.
Self Aligns to Roofing Profile
Even when installed off centre ROOF-LOK® self-aligns to the surface of the roof sheet when under uplift load.
